Tom picked me up 2 hours later than scheduled, due to an accident on the highway in London that caused the entire flight crew to be late. It took them 4 hours to get to the airport whereas it normally takes them 40 minutes. I forgot to keep my warm clothes with me, and I cringed as I left JFK at the realization that the world has more climates than perfectly warm in Mumbai. Change in a dirty white tank top and short shorts for 10 layers of wool.
